Opening times:

The club opens at 8.00am Monday through to Sunday and closes at 11.30pm.

Tennis court’s are available up until 10.30pm, and the Squash courts are available until 10.45pm.

The Bowls season runs from April to the end of September, and can be played on from 10.30am until dark!

Directions to The Connaught Club

From North Chingford

Enter Station Road, Chingford from the west and continue onwards for nearly 1 mile. You will pass Chingford Station on your right. Continue on the same road, which becomes Rangers Road. You will pass open land to your left and climb a short hill. At the top of the hill is The Royal Forest Hotel on your left. You must indicate right at this point as The Connaught Club is directly opposite the entrance to the hotel. Turn into a gravel road and continue until the road forks. Take left hand fork and continue into our car park.

From Epping, Theydon Bois and Loughton

Take the Epping New Road (A104) south towards London. Less than 2 miles from the Robin Hood Pub, on the same road. About 2 miles further on take the first right hand turn, Rangers Road, signposted Chingford. Continue on Rangers Road until open land on both sides on the road. The road will climb gently toward The Royal Forest Hotel, which will be on your right. Before this, indicate left as the entrance to the club is directly opposite the hotel. Turn into a gravel road and continue until the road forks. Take left hand fork and continue into our car park.

From Woodford and Buckhurst Hill

Take Epping New Road North until junction with Brook Road (left) and Church Road (right). Continue straight past Nissan dealership on right for 1.5 miles. You will pass a petrol station and The Warren Wood pub on your left. Take next left which will be Rangers Road. Continue on Rangers Road until open land appears on both sides on the road. The road will climb gently toward The Royal Forest Hotel, which will be on your right. Before this, indicate left as the entrance to the club is directly opposite the hotel. Turn into a gravel road and continue until the road forks. Take left hand fork and continue into our car park.
